SW Lakes Trust - Wimbleball Lake, Sailing for Children

Wimbleball is the ideal venue for sailing with no tides to worry about. The consistent winds enable learning in a safe and fun environment.

Nippers Club
Children aged 6 -10 can learn to sail in the specially designed fun smaller boats 'Oppies'. Sessions are held on Sundays, beginners 9:30am - 11am, Intermediates 11:30am - 1:00pm.

RYA Junior Stages 1 & 2 (Three Days)
Have fun whilst learning to control your own boat. Over the three days you will learn to turn your boat around and before you know it, sail around a simple course.
£150 per person.

RYA Junior Stages 3 & 4 (Three Days)
Having learnt the basics and reached stage 2 competency, develop your skills further through sailing in all directions along with new skills and manoeuvres.
£150 per person.
