Exmoor Adventures - BCU 1* Kayak & Canoe Course

This is a great 1 day course to introduce both kayak and canoe skills on flat water. An ideal candidate will be trying canoeing and kayaking for the first time or have some previous experience. You will be taught a range of skills and techniques to paddle both froms of craft as well as rescue techniques and safety considerations.

With a range of skills, activities and a journey around Wimbleball Lake to cap the day off, you are guaranteed to learn more about the sport and improve your skills.

Minimum age for this course is 14 (must be accompanied by parent).

Course Cost: £60 pp

All equipment is provided: kayaks, canoes, cags, wetsuits and buoyancy aids.

Road Directions

From Tiverton take the A396, follow brown signs from the Exeter Inn roundabout to Bampton & then Wimbleball.

From Dunster take the A396 towards Dulverton; follow brown signs at Machine Cross.

From Taunton take the A39 to Washford Cross, and then the B3190 towards Bampton, the turning for Wimbleball is signed from this road.
