West Anstey Farm Stables

Riding stables situated on edge of Exmoor (riding straight onto the moor).Horses and ponies to suit all abilities, hard hats provided, qualified instruction available. Ideal for people for riding holidays and good for walking and exploring for those not riding.

West Anstey stables ride straight onto the moor. Large selection of horses 11:2 to 16:2 hh, for beginners to experienced. Children and nervous riders can be led. Day rides to local Inns or 1-2 hourly rides. All rides escorted. Basic and BHSAI tuition available. Routes used: Molland, West and East Anstey Commons, Barle Valley, Tarr Steps, Withypool and Winsford Commons. NDDC approved. Hard hats supplied.

A family run farm which has experience in offering all types of holidays for over 30 years on Exmoor. Licensed by NDCC with about 40 horses and ponies from 12 hands to 16, something suitable for everyone.

From Dulverton: Go out past the post office, signposted Exford - keep along river to Marsh Bridge and follow the Hawkridge signs to 5 cross ways (5 roads meeting, you are on one of them) do not go to East Anstey turning before 5 cross ways. In front of you bearing left sign Yeo Mill and West Anstey - take this road, stay on it past bungalow on left, we are the next property sign posted West Ansety Stables.
