Sandrock Hotel

The restaurant is large yet intimate, and here we serve a hearty English breakfast, which we trust will set you up for the day. We are happy to cater for vegetarian and other special diets. All meals are prepared fresh to order . Evening meals are optional. We shop regularly for fresh ingredients and purchase local Devon produce when available.

The restaurant and bar is also open to non-residents.

Road Directions

From Junction 27 on the M5 Motorway, turn onto the A361 North Devon Link Road and travel towards Barnstaple. After about 23 miles, at the 'Little Chef' Roundabout, near South Molton, turn right onto the A399, and travel for about 12 miles towards Combe Martin. On reaching the junction at Blackmoor Gate turn right onto A39 towards Lynton and Lynmouth. After about 6 miles at Barbrook (opposite 'TOTAL PETROL STATION') turn left onto B3234 Lynbridge Rd towards Lynton, and then first left into Station Road. Follow the road uphill and then down, and around the right hand band, and then left into Crossmead (ONE WAY STREET). At the top of Crossmead turn left at the 'T' junction into Longmead and the hotel entrance is a few yards along the right hand side.

Nearest railway station is Barnstaple.
Regular bus service from Barnstaple to Lynton drops in Lee Road. Hotel is about 20 yards uphill on the right.

Pick up in Barnstaple can be arranged.
