On Tuesday the 9th September 2008 the Tour of Britain international cycle race will, once again, be returning to Exmoor.
Last year 70,000 turned out on a gloriously sunny day to watch the 112 riders from around the world racing from sea level to cliff top in minutes, all chasing that coveted yellow jersey.
The race this year will start in Chard taking in South Molton, North Molton, Sandyway and Withypool before moving to the more familiar ground of Exford, which could well be the best place to watch the race and Wheddon Cross.
Activities have been organised in Exford and Dunster to make your day out one to remember.
