Wimbleball Lake covers 385 acres and is situated on the edge of Exmoor National Park. Apart from its primary use which is to supply water to South West Water & Wessex Water customers, it services the needs of various sport and leisure groups i.e. walkers, anglers, sailors and birdwatchers. With the exception of competitive rowing all boating on the lake operates under the control of the sailing club.
Sailing for all the family throughout the year. Safe enclosed waters. RYA recognised training establishment. Ask about training courses. Sailboards, catamarans, canoes and all dinghies (max length 20 ft.) welcome. Racing most Sundays.
From 10-12:30 every Sunday the Club aim to focus on helping the 10-16yr olds to improve their sailing through racing in the variety of different boats on hand, Mino’s, Toppers and Picos are all available to use and there are plenty of experienced people to help too!
