Mountains + Moor

Explore the picturesque coasts and moors of the West Country with an experienced leader. You will almost certainly see species such as peregrine falcons and red deer. If we are really lucky, we may spot an elusive otter. Don't forget to bring a camera! In addition, your leader will teach you how to interpret some of the tracks and signs of creatures that most ramblers miss, but which give a tantalising insight into a secret world all around us.

Whilst you are certain to learn some new skills on any one of our holidays, we also have dedicated training courses will teach you the techniques, and help you to develop the skills and the confidence needed to go walking independently. The courses are generally run on Dartmoor and Exmoor, although we will happily run them other areas such as the Scottish Highlands too, if requested. Courses include, rock climbing techniques; Introduction to rock climbing; Moutain bike navigation; navigation; and summer mountain craft.
