Exe Valley Fishery

The Exe Valley has become famed for the fly fishing it can offer. Sport may include casting for Rainbow Trout at our beautiful small Stillwater location, or for those who like catching wild fish there are also abundant rivers containing Wild Brown Trout, Salmon and Grayling. We can organise day permits if required.

The fishery itself consists of a main lake with 2 smaller venues also close by. The main "Anchor Lake" is around 2 acres in size and is stocked with hard fighting Rainbow Trout reared on site.

The Exe Valley Fishery is home to Nick Hart Fly Fishing headed up by instructors Nick Hart and Peter Tyjas. Both qualified level 2 and AAPGAI casting instructors, Nick and Pete provide fly fishing tuition for several hundred people per year.
