Bird Hills Days

Your morning commences at 9am with a light breakfast and introduction to the day’s activities. You will then be transported onto Exmoor National Park to begin your day at 10am. Drinks and snacks are available throughout the day with a luxury hamper or pub lunch provided at midday. Activities are scheduled to finish at approximately 5pm when you will return for drinks and prize giving. An evening dinner/banquet can be arranged with or without accommodation if required, to suit your group and budget.

Archery
Experience the thrill of stalking through the Field Archery course, designed by qualified field archers and laid out through a wonderful woodland setting. This activity is suitable for all levels and entails shooting targets spaced at differing intervals and distances.

Clay Shooting
Whether you are experienced or a beginner, the instructors will make sure your shoot on Birds Hill is both memorable and enjoyable. All equipment is provided and includes cartridges and clays.

Pistol Shooting
These air pistols are both powerful and accurate, and after your initial tuition with paper targets, you will move on to steel drop down silhouettes secreted in the woodland. In addition to having had an enjoyable day, the aim is for you to come away with a real sense of achievement, safe in the knowledge that you can handle a pistol.

Laser Shooting
Designed to come to you if required, Laser Shooting uses real, but converted, 12-bore shotguns which fire a safe infra-red beam at full-size clays fired from an electric trap.

Being perfectly safe and having no recoil, this is an ideal activity for children and adults alike.
Multiples of five people can shoot at a time and individual scores are shown on an electronic scoreboard in front of the players.
