| "REF" Returns Football is coming back to Wheddon Cross and now it's back to stay! On September 13th the REF project is being relaunched with a BBQ special at 18:30 to mark the return of this these popular football sessions for 11 - 18 yr olds. Previously, players from Timberscombe, Wheddon Cross, Dulverton, Carhampton and Exford have been playing with numbers on the up at the beginning of the summer break last July. Organised as a joint project between Somerset Rural Youth Project and Active Exmoor, REF is all about free football access for all, whatever your ability. Everyone is welcome! Following the BBQ special evening REF will be played evey Monday night from 18:30 to 20:00. Transport can be arranged and buses are already being provided from Dulverton and Minehead to Wheddon Cross for the BBQ special evening.
