Olympic champion comes to Exmoor

Lecture Demonstration from Internationally Acclaimed, Olympic Champion Mary King - 27th Feb 2005.

February brings an exciting opportunity to see the International three day event rider and Olympic Champion, Mary King in action at the Calvert Trust’s indoor riding arena, near Blackmoor Gate.Over two hours, Mary King will be giving an inspirational and educational lecture demonstration on event riding.

What’s more, Mary hopes to bring along her Olympic Horse, King Solomon – giving you the chance to see this Olympic pair showing their skills. Following the demonstration there will be a buffet lunch, where Mary will be answering questions and signing autographs.

“Having opened the Trust's equestrian centre in 1997, we are delighted to welcome Mary back to the Calvert Trust. All of us are really excited about hosting this demonstration and are looking forward to watching Mary work her magic”, said Chris Slater, centre Director.

The demonstration will take place on Sunday 27th February at Calvert Trust Exmoor, near Wistlandpound and starts at 11 o’clock.

Tickets are available from the Calvert Trust Exmoor or the Farmers Den Simonsbath, though seats will be limited so book early to avoid disappointment.

Prices are as follows: ·

Two hour lecture demonstration: £22 per person·

Demonstration plus light buffet lunch: £25 per person.

All tickets include a free entry into a raffle with various equestrian prizes on offer.
