The Devon & Somerset Condors frequently paraglide and hang glide a variety of open sites around the N.Devon and Somerset coast between Ilfracombe and Minehead.
Most are coastal sites, with some wonderful scenery and flying from the most relaxing to the seriously nerve-testing.
The Devon & Somerset Condors welcome visitors to fly most of their sites, they do ask that you are a member of another UK club and of the BHPA.
Pilots living within the Condors catchment area are urged to join the club - all of the private land owners from whose land they fly receive some sort of recompense for their generosity. Fees are paid for some Council and National Trust sites, so it is only fair that all local pilots should contribute.
Furthermore, you will receive a bi-monthly newsletter, Airheads, which contains up-to-date information regarding sites when appropriate, as well as news, views and articles. Without sites noone can fly.
